Carlos Zamudio

Carlos Zamudio is a Researcher with the Collective for an Integral Drug Policy, A.C. (CUPIHD) as well as an ethnologist and specialist in social medicine. Carlos is author of “The Drug Trafficking Networks”, the “First Survey of Drug Users in the City of Mexico 2012,” and several articles on illicit drug users, illegal markets and human rights. He was part of the Special Report on Drugs and Human Rights in Mexico City from 2012 to 2013 as a member of the advisory team, and is now fellow of the Social Science Research Council, 2015-2016. He received the Prize Fray Bernardino de Sahagun (2008), by the National Institute of Anthropology and History.
